Old Pictures

Sometimes, you don't want to be photographed.
Cuz photographs last forever. Even digital ones
Yes, I'm spending my little money printing them all.
I'll magnify, and nail them on the wall, and they'll be there
till i'm so old i'll have to put my glasses over my nose to re-live them.

Yesterday, when I sat in my bed, I looked up to the wall.
(There's a mirror there too, but it was the faces on the photos lookin at me)
You know mirrors just give you back your pretty face
But the guys on the photos, well, those will even give little bites on your soul.
Specially if they feel u're planning on renewing anything.
Specially their place in your wall.

Walls are to fill up. They're not made for renewals.
So I'm gonna look up at my pics again,
tell them I'm sorry, so that they can stop biting me.
And I'm just gonna add some more, throw in some new faces and mix it all
So that I can look at the big picture tomorrow.
Yes, yes. Pictures of the past are the best present I can give myself.
